Grizzlies and the Blue Book of Gun Values
Some boys I know just purchased the latest edition of S.P.Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values , after reviewing the values for the Grizzly line of pistols we are wondering why there so far out of line in relationship to the actual values / prices paid for the pistols now , actually the prices have not changed in 10 years or so , according to this book at least .

I just paid $1230 dollars for a used MK IV but it came with 3 mags so I think it was a pretty good deal. I know I probably paid too much but I wanted it. My first MK I I paid maybe $800.00 for it was ANIB and it came with a holster a mag pouch, 2 mags, 5 full 50 rd boxes and a half box of shells- It was 2 tone Hard Chrome frame and a blued slide.
I do not think you paided too much , I paid $ 1400.00 for a Grizzly .44 Magnum MK 4 in perfect condition with one magazine , I found another magazine at a local store and paided $ 150.00 for it. A friend of mine has a hard chrome Grizzly MK 4 with one magazine and he wants $1750.00 for his , so you got a good deal
That's good to know. Are there any breaks that can be found for the MK IV? I'm interested and would actually like someting closer to the size of the slide. Just asking.
I see the Blue Book as a DEALER reference when trying to buy your gun. It has never reflected "real world" retail values. You both made a reasonable purchase.
BTW, its 2014 does anybody still post here? I just found this site.
I just found the site today because I just got back from the range and the range officer had never seen one was he impressed when I let him fire off a few rounds. I have the original Mark 1
Hello, I have a Mark IV 44 Magnum. I don’t know how but the barrel link pin broke. Does anyone have barrel link pin that I can purchase. Thank you
